2. Eat around as walking through Kuromon market Kuromon Market is a shopping street located in Minami, the center of Osaka City. The market got its name from the black mountain gate of Enmyoji Temple, which was located nearby. The specialty is conger eel in summer and puffer fish in winter, and about 10% of the fresh fish stores have puffer fish specialty signs. There are about 150 stores under the 580-meter-long arcade, and the street is always bustling with people. From fresh fish stores to puffer fish and soft-shelled turtle specialty stores, restaurants, and shops selling vegetables, fruit, meat, pickles, dried goods, Japanese sweets, and Western sweets, the street is packed with a variety of shops, and wherever you look, it is full of the lively energy of a market. The fresh fish stores sell skewered seafood, the fruit stores sell fresh juice, and the tea stores sell matcha soft serve ice cream.

The Namba Parks complex features boutiques, restaurants serving Southeast Asian cuisine and a roof garden within the mall, while pop culture "otaku" shop for video games and comic books at Den-Den Town. The backstreets of Hozenji are lined with lively izakayas, and the National Bunraku Theatre offers traditional puppet theatre.

Pass by Dotombori area in Osaka Dotonbori, with its rows of giant three-dimensional billboards such as the Shochikuza Theater, Kani Douraku, and the Glico sign, is a representative entertainment district in Osaka's Minami area. The name Dotonbori comes from Yasui Doton, who donated his personal fortune to dig the river in 1612. After that, it flourished as an entertainment district for theater and kabuki, and the number of teahouses and other establishments increased, becoming the basis for the current food and live entertainment district.
