Kiruna Northern Lights Tour with Photographer Discount Tickets

Overview

After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, we will start to chase the northern lights that depends on each night according to the weather conditions. We can drive to Abisko, Kiruna’s boreal forest or wherever we can find clear sky to see Aurora Borealis. Lights of Vikings have a really high success rate in finding clear sky which is one of the most important criteria to see the Northern Lights. Our concept is famous for driving long distances if necessary! Wherever we go during the tour, we will tell you many stories about the northern lights and Vikings. After finding clear sky, we’ll admire the northern lights and we will take pictures which we’ll send to you within 3 days after the tour. If you bring your own camera, we will help you set it up to get the best shots. As the northern lights dance in the sky we will serve hot drinks and make a camp fire for you to keep warm. After the northern lights tour, we will drive you back to Kiruna.

Pickup Information

To make our pickup service as smooth as possible, we ask all our guests to wait for us outside of the hotel at the designated pickup time, not inside the reception. We will not be able to contact you beforehand, and we will not be able to check inside the reception. We provide a 5-minute waiting period. However, if we cannot reach you, we will have to leave to respect the other guests’ pickup times. Guests staying at Best Western Arctic Eden will be picked up in front of Arctic Thai, which is a restaurant located directly in front of the hotel, as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car. Guests staying at Elite Frost Hotel and Scandic will be picked up at the Kiruna Tourism Office (Malmvägen 9B) – just 200m walk as it is not possible to get to the hotel with the car. Unfortunately pick-up/drop-off service is not available at Airbnb, Camp Alta, Aurora Camp Kurravaara or Reindeer Lodge. You’re more than welcome to meet us at any of our designated pick-up points.
