Overview

Tokyo | 1–4 people | Private Tour | Approx. 4 hours Kagurazaka carries the nickname "Little Kyoto" for a reason, its stone-paved alleys and Edo-period lanes have barely changed in a century, and most visitors to Tokyo never find them. This tour starts with a professional kimono fitting and traditional hair styling, then explore the Little Kyoto. Your private, bilingual guide leads you through hidden yokocho streets and local shrines, explaining the culture and history as you go, while capturing pictures along the way. The pace slows at a historic tea house, where the owner prepares handmade matcha and seasonal wagashi by hand. Before you finish, stop at long established family owned shops, and a chopstick specialty shop, where you can have a pair custom-engraved as a keepsake (optional, additional fee). Every guest also receives a themed souvenir gift. All digital photos and a short highlight video are sent to you after the tour.
