Overview

Discover a different side of Kanchanaburi on a private day trip combining Erawan’s forest waterfalls with peaceful temples and countryside landmarks. Unlike many Erawan tours centered on the River Kwai and wartime history, this itinerary focuses on nature and local culture. Spend approximately three hours exploring the waterfall, with the freedom to swim at the lower pools or hike toward the higher tiers according to your interests and fitness. After Erawan, enter the natural cave sanctuary of Wat Tham Phu Wa, pause beneath the enormous canopy of the Giant Rain Tree, and finish at Wat Tham Sua, known for its golden Buddha, colorful architecture and wide countryside views. With private transportation and a licensed guide, the pace can be adjusted for swimming, walking, photographs and rest without following a large-group schedule.
