We meet in front of a small church that sits in a corner of the Main Market Square, St. Adelbert's or Św. Wojciech’s church. It stands at the mouth of Grodzka street – main street going to the castle. If lost, do not panic and call me

This small church is where we begin the tour but also your journey of 1000 years through Polish history
3. St Mary's Basilica
The most iconic building in Kraków - most probably Its towers are a puzzle. The trumpet is a symbol.
4. Sukiennice (Cloth Hall)
The fancy building in the middle
5. Adam Mickiewicz Monument (Pomnik Adama Mickiewicza)
Adam Mickiewicz could one of the most important people in history of Eastern Europe. Hero of multiple nations. His monuments are stories onto themselves

Planty surrounds The Old Town of Kraków just like the medieval walls had. Iconic for the image and experience of Kraków. We shall enjoy its shade too

Barbakan is a fort that defended the city from its most approachble, north direction. Thus it was the main sight of Kraków that people would see when entering. The coat of arms of Kraków.
8. St. Florian's Gate

The main street of Kraków. Lots to see and talk about. Here I have a rather unorthodox place to visit
10. Museum of Krakow Town Hall Tower
The Old Town Hall of Kraków. A puzzling structure to be sure. We are going to have to do some digging
11. Muzeum Uniwersytetu Jagiellonskiego Collegium Maius
The oldest building of the oldest Polish University - Uniwersytet Jagielloński. There is a wonderful park, charming renaissance courtyard, and a delightful cafe

This is where we talk about the most important Polish person that had ever lived. We passed him a couple of tiems already but this is his spot.

The most important church in Poland. What a mess!
15. Wawel Royal Castle
The most impressive building in Kraków is also one that history has not treated too well in the last few centuries but you do not see that today.
16. Monument of the Wawel Dragon
Is there a better way to finish anything than with a fire-breathing dragon? I think not!
