Overview
On this 11-12-hour program, you'll enjoy one of the best views in Zakopane with a funicular railway ride up to Gubałówka. Visit Krupówki, the most popular street in the heart of Zakopane, where you can experience the ambience of the mountain region and enjoy the aromas of local foods coming from the traditional restaurants. After your tour of Zakopane, take a break for some rest and relaxation in the thermal pools. Enjoy outdoor and indoor swimming pools, water slides, whirlpool baths and many other attractions in the heart of the mountains.
Pickup Information
Pickups in Krakow between 8:30-9:00am. Pickup directly from your selected hotel or apartment in Krakow (or the nearest location if vehicle access is prohibited or difficult). The day before the tour (by 7pm), after collecting all addresses from the other tour participants, you will receive the exact pickup time from your accommodation.

Itinerary
1. Visit Zakopane and Polish mountains. Experience a unique style of architecture, clothes, and food. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Polish mountains from the cable car. See the ski jumps of the World Championship. Visit the historic wooden village. Learn the secrets of the traditional production of smoked sheep cheese called "Oscypek" made only in these areas.
2. About 20 minutes from Zakopane, there is the town of Chochołów. This village is famous for the wooden houses that look almost identical. Settlers have traditionally washed the wooden walls of buildings with soapy water. They do it twice a year in the period before Christmas and Easter. Thanks to this, buildings that are many years old look like new. In the vicinity of Chochołów in the glades there are places where highlanders produce sheep cheese traditional for this region of Poland. This cheese is called "Oscypek". As part of the trip you will visit this place and you will be able to learn the production history and taste of this cheese.
3. In the city of Zakopane there is a cable car thanks to which you will be able to climb to the top of the Gubałówka mountain. The upper station is located at an altitude of 1,126 m a.s.l. from the hill offers a beautiful view of the Polish Tatra Mountains landscape. There are also many tourist attractions as well as restaurants and cafes where you can taste mulled wine and relax with a view of the mountain landscape.
4. The most famous street in Zakopane with traditional bazaars as well as the restaurants and cafes. You will have some free time to spend over here.
5. There is a Tatra national park around Zakopane.
6. After completing part of the sightseeing of the Zakopane Town, the driver will take you to a complex of thermal pools, 30 minutes away, where you will spend about 2,5 hours on a well-healing bath in hot springs.
7. The Ski Jumping World Cup takes place in Zakopane every year in winter. It is a very popular winter sport in Poland. Access to the ski jumps is not included in the tour, it is only allowed for professional ski jumpers.
8. On the Gubałówka mountain there is a viewing point from which there is a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains.
9. you will taste traditional local cheese (oscypek) made from sheep's milk and local alcohol.
