Pickup Information

For a cruise ship passenger : As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store. Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico If you are driving yourself: We can also meet you outside Zipper’s Bar & Grill restaurant at Costa Azul bar. Exact location: Carretera Transpeninsular 28.5, Tourist Corridor, B.C.S., México. If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour. As we know, the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day. Sometimes we will have to change location, re-schedule, and cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). You will be informed of the options, and you will make the decision. Factors that could influence this are rain, high swell, wind, and jellyfish.

This tour operate from March 15th to Nov 15th (we do not have waves in the wintertime at Costa Azul area, Cerrito's option available on those dates)

The activity lasts 3 hours including round-trip transportation.

Pick-up times are assigned based on the location of your hotel or place of accommodation. Pick-ups start approximately one and a half hours before the scheduled activity time.

We recommend the 9 am schedule, in the mornings there is less wind and cleaner waves, so the conditions are usually more favorable.

For every 3 people in a class, there will be 1 guide/coach

Our prices are the same for both children and adults. If we have children participating we always aim to have an extra guide for supervision. When you book your surf lesson, please specify whether the participants are children.

We use foam boards for our surf lessons. If you prefer a fiberglass surfboard please be sure to request this in advance at the time of booking.

To join the lesson as an observer you have to book a non-surfer/companion spot on our transport. The non-surfer/companion fee includes round trip transportation, shaded camp (umbrellas and chairs), bottled water and snacks. You’ll be able to enjoy the beach at our camp while observing the surf lesson. To book, simply select “observer (non-surfer)”.

All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
