1. Paseo De Los Vecinos Ilustres De Pueblo Libre
After Learning some important facts about Pueblo Libre at the main square, on your way to the market, you’ll pass by the Calvary Legion and one of the local army bases. This area has a deep military tradition that dates back to the battles for independence.

2. Mercado
Now, you step into the Pueblo Libre Market. For us locals, the market isn’t just a place to buy groceries; it’s a social ritual. Notice how people interact with their favourite vendors, or caseros. It’s not a quick transaction; instead, it involves catching up on family and neighbourhood news. The market serves as the community's living room, and the energy here is contagious. Next, you will begin your fruit tasting with a vendor who sources locally produced fruits and vegetables, offering a wide variety of options.

3. Santiago Queirolo
Just a short walk away is a true Lima institution: the Antigua Taberna Santiago Queirolo. Founded in 1880, this tavern is legendary.
