Itinerary
1. Our first stop of the day is at Góðafoss waterfall, a beautiful location with great symbolic importance to Icelanders
2. Lake Mývatn viewing point. See the spectacular psuedo craters known as Skútustaðir
3. Stroll on the walking paths through this lava field which features stunning rock formations formed in ancient eruptions
4. Also known as Hverir, Námaskard is a volcanic region with boiling mud pots and the odour of sulphuric steam emanates from the earth. The minerals in the water have added a rusty color to the rocks and soil here.
