Overview
This tour is perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the Longji Rice Terraces, explore authentic village life, and experience the rich culture of ethnic minorities. You’ll gain insight into the traditional lifestyles of the Yao and Zhuang people. The journey includes a hike from the riverside and rice paddies up to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the spectacular rice terraces.

Itinerary
1. Your driver-guide will pick you up at 9:00 am or at a time of your choice from the lobby of your hotel, Guilin Railway Station, Guilin Airport, Guilin city center, or any other designated location. Please let us know your hotel name, and we will pick you up from anywhere within 20 kilometers of Guilin city. (Note: Driver who also acts as a guide)
2. After a two-hour drive, you will arrive at the Longji parking lot,where you can purchase entry tickets to the Longji Rice Terraces. Next, you will head to the Ping’an Rice Terraces, the most beautiful terraces, which were among the first to be discovered by tourists. From the Ping’an parking lot, you will walk up to Viewing Platform No. 2 through the village via stone stairs. Along the way, you’ll observe the Zhuang people’s daily life and their traditional wooden houses. On reaching Viewing Platform No. 2, you’ll be greeted by the iconic “Seven Stars with the Moon” formation. From there, you’ll take a walk to Viewing Platform No. 1 along a flat path, passing bamboo groves, rice terraces, and stunning hill views. When you arrive at Viewing Platform No. 1, you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Rice Terraces. Afterward, you will enjoy a Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, then you can visit Huangluo honghair village to see the local people’ s daily life.
3. After a wonderful day tour of the Longji Rice Terraces, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. The journey takes about 2 hours, during which you can take a nap and relax. You will arrive at your Guilin hotel around 5:30 pm. Note: We may adjust the itinerary slightly during the National Holiday. To avoid crowds and traffic, we will likely skip Longhair Village to ensure a better tour experience.
