Itinerary
1. Your private English speaking driver will pick you up from hotel . Heading to Lama Temple which also known as Harmony and Peace Palace Lamasery, Yonghe Lamasery, or Yonghe Lama Temple, is located at the northeast corner of Beijing City, considered as the largest and most perfectly preserved lamasery in present day China.
2. Close by Lama Temple is Confucius Temple just 5 minutes walking ,The Temple of Confucius in Beijing was initially built in 1302 and additions were made during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It has a total area of 5.4 acres (22,000 square meters). It is the second largest temple constructed for Confucius, the greatest thinker and educationalist in ancient China, ranking only behind the Temple of Confucius in Qufu, Shandong Province
3. Then heading to Back lakes ( Hutong area) ,is a large artificial lake in northern downtown Beijing. The lake covers a total area of 87 acres (34 hectares). You can go boating on the lake in summer; while in winter it is possibile to ski on the frozen lake. The area is dotted with bars, cafes, teahouses and restaurants, and is quite popular among foreign visitors and local young people. In addition, the neighboring Hutongs and courtyards of former court officials and celebrities are worth a visit.
4. Before Beihai park exploring , you may need lunch , your driver can recommend restaurant based on your request . Beihai park, Beihai Park, also known as Northern Sea Park, is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved ancient imperial gardens in China located in center of Beijing. This ancient garden, with over 1,000 years' history, is not only a classic combination of the grandiosity of the northern gardens and the refinement of the southern gardens in China, but also a perfect integration of magnificent imperial palaces and solemn religious constructions.
5. At the end of self-tour, your private driver will take you back to hotel.
