Meeting and Pickup
We will pick you up in front of the Aix en Provence Tourism Office - there is a dedicated meeting point for all the departing day trips. Please be ready 10 minutes before tour departure time.

Itinerary
1. After a 1-hour drive from Aix, arrive at Gordes, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Enjoy a guided walking tour of this charming village, admire the famous and beautiful Senanque Abbey located next to the village (surrounded by lavender fields in June and July), and take advantage of free time for personal discovery and lunch (at your own expense). Duration includes travel time.
2. In the afternoon, discover the charming village of Lourmarin, nestled at the foot of the Luberon mountains and listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France.” Known for its Renaissance château, picturesque streets, and lively Provençal atmosphere, Lourmarin offers a perfect blend of heritage, culture, and art de vivre. Enjoy free time to wander through narrow streets lined with cafés, boutiques, and art galleries, while admiring the elegant architecture and shaded squares that give the village its unique character. Surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, and almond groves, Lourmarin has long attracted artists, writers, and intellectuals, including Albert Camus. Depending on opening times and your interests, you may choose to visit the château or simply relax and explore the village at your own pace (entrance fees not included). Duration includes travel time.
3. At the end of the day, your experience continues with a gourmet stop highlighting Provence’s flavors. From Monday to Saturday, visit a traditional olive oil mill in the Luberon region. Learn about the production process, from olive groves to pressing techniques, and discover how heritage methods meet modern expertise. A guided tasting allows you to explore different olive oils, compare aromas, and understand how they enhance Provençal cuisine. On Sundays, this visit is replaced by the Musée du Calisson at Confiserie du Roy René, near Aix-en-Provence. Discover the history of the Calisson d’Aix through an immersive exhibition dedicated to almond orchards, confectionery, and artisanal know-how. You will also have free time to explore the boutique and, if you wish, purchase local sweets. At the end of the afternoon, return to Aix-en-Provence after a full day combining villages, heritage, and gastronomy in Provence. Duration includes travel time.
