View the colourful Burketown Hot Water Bore and see the gorgeous colours from the silicate in the water. The bore was the first attempt to provide a year-round water supply to the town. View the wetlands created by the free-flowing bore and the wildlife it attracts.

Albert River Bridge - Learn the history of Burketown and the role the Gambumanda River (Albert River) played in the opening up of the area. This covers from first contact between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous right through to the present-day providing context of events in both Australia and globally. Traverse through Burketown (Moungibi) learning about the evolution and structure of the local community present day.
