1. Sierra de Espadán

We start our adventure at the mysterious Black Lagoon, a natural pool tucked away in the mountains. In the afternoon, we’ll make our way to Screeching Bird Canyon, a breathtaking gorge sculpted over time by the Mijares River. The sheer scale of this place is humbling, and if we’re lucky, we might even hear the canyon’s namesake—the echoing calls of birds soaring high above.
