Important Notice:
Due to the recent increase in fuel prices, a fuel surcharge will be implemented from 12 March 2026, SGD 6.00 for departures from Singapore (HarbourFront Centre/Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal) and IDR 65,000 for departures from Batam ports (Batam Centre/Sekupang/Tanjung Pinang), applicable to all tickets including those purchased before or after this date, and payable at the ticket counter.
Good to know:
- Passengers are required to pay a Singapore ferry tax of SGD 10 prior to departure, as well as an IDR 20,000 boarding fee and an IDR 100,000 terminal fee upon arrival at Tanjung Pinang Ferry Terminal. These fees are subject to change.
- Seat reservations must be made directly at the Majestic Fast Ferry counter upon redemption of your boarding pass at least one hour before your preferred departure time. Please note that seats are subject to availability and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- During peak periods, it is recommended to make a reservation via email (sales@thktour.com or info@thktour.com) or by calling +65 6344 6222 / +65 6980 6566. Please confirm your reservation at the Majestic Fast Ferry counter up to one hour before your preferred departure time. The operator will not keep the reservation after the allotted time.
- Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of travel.
- Departure times and ferry frequency may vary. Check the official website for complete information on the daily schedule.
Visa requirements and immigration process:
- Guests requiring a 30-day visa on arrival can complete their payment through the system during the QR code scanning process. After payment, they can proceed to use the auto gate, just like other travellers, upon arrival at Tanjung Pinang.
- Guests requiring a special short-term visa (seven days) must proceed to the manual counter to complete their application.
- Guests who are Singapore permanent residents and require a visa on arrival must use the traditional immigration process and cannot use the auto gate.
- Guests who have successfully obtained a physical visa do not need to scan a QR code. They can directly use the auto gate upon arrival, as their information is already recorded in the system.
