For Mondays and Chinese public holidays, a 6:30 a.m. departure is advised to avoid heavy Great‑Wall crowds. Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, many tourists visit the Great Wall instead. Entry lines of 1+ hours are common after 10:00 a.m. during these peak periods. Complimentary bananas are offered on the 6:30 a.m. departure to help sustain your energy for sightseeing.

According to the latest Mutianyu toboggan/slide management regulations, visitors aged over 60 can only descend the mountain by chairlift.

The toboggan slide may be temporarily closed in case of rain. In such situations, the toboggan ride will be replaced by the chairlift (or cable car)

No refund will be issued for the difference if toboggan is replaced by chairlift/cable car due to weather or safety regulations.
