For the short walk on the island be sure to bring some shoes or sandals to protect your feet if they are not used to the rough lava. Experience swimming in the queens bath, an eight-foot deep ocean water swimming hole on the backside of Moku Nui. 2. Kailua Beach Park

Launch your kayaks from Kailua Beach. Feel free to spend a few moments enjoying the beach planning your Kayak route.

On this trip you will be paddling through Hawaiian green sea turtle habitat and you will be protected by a barrier reef that extends across the entire paddling route.

4. Mokulua Islands

On the Mokulua Islands you will often see short tail shearwater Hawaiian seabirds swooping the shoreline. The island is a nesting ground and seabird sanctuary. Other rare sites include Hawaiian Monk seals resting on the beach and occasional flying fish. Take a walk around the island and swim in the queens bath which is a 8 foot deep tide pool.
