Itinerary

1. Cascade Mountain is a mountain located in the Bow River Valley of Banff National Park, adjacent to the town of Banff. Cascade is the highest mountain adjacent to the townsite.

3. Castle Mountain is a mountain located within Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies, approximately halfway between Banff and Lake Louise. It is the easternmost mountain of the Main Ranges in the Bow Valley and sits astride the Castle Mountain Fault which has thrust older sedimentary and metamorphic rocks forming the upper part of the mountain over the younger rocks forming its base.

4. Activities on and around the lakes include canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wildlife watching, bird watching, and hiking. The shorelines along Vermilion Lakes Drive are popular locations for sunrise and sunset photography.

5. Lake Louise, often regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada, is nestled in the heart of Banff National Park, surrounded by majestic mountains and glaciers. The lake’s mesmerizing emerald color is a result of tiny mineral particles from the nearby glaciers that dissolve into the water, creating a stunning reflection.
