2. James Wolfe & The Earl of Dufferin Statues. We'll tell you about the two statues you see at the foot of the entrance, both men of many accomplishments!
3. Manitoba Plaza Fountain & The Golden Boy Statue. We'll point out this gorgeous fountain and tell you why it is a focal point for many residents of the city. We'll also tell you about a very unique feature of the building in front of you.
4. 5th Earl of Selkirk Statue & La Verendrye Statue. As you come to the east side of the building we'll tell you about the two gentlemen who had statues erected to honour them.
5. Women's Grove. We'll tell you about what's in the large brick circle and how it is still relevant in today's struggle for equality.
6. Jon Sigurdsson Statue. As you check out this statue we'll tell you about why the Icelandic Society of Manitoba had this cast and placed on the grounds.
7. George-Etienne Cartier Statue. We'll tell you about a great Canadian Statesman and why he is so important.
8. Statue of Robert Burns. This statue was erected on the Legislative Grounds here in Manitoba, in honour of a Scottish cultural icon, and we'll tell you why.
9. Queen Elizabeth Statue. We'll tell you about one of two statues celebrating British Royalty and the special guest who unveiled it.
10. Government House of Manitoba. As you stroll through the beautiful grounds you will come up to the wonderful historic mansion built in 1883 and we'll tell you how it is being used today.
11. Kwakiutl First Nations Totem Pole & Bears on Broadway. We'll tell you why you are surrounded by bright coloured bears and about the beautiful handcrafted totem pole.
12. Gardens & River. While walking towards the river you can rest on a bench in one of the quaint gardens and and we'll tell you a little bit about the Red River's history.
13. Louis Riel Statue. We'll tell you all about this statue and why this man was so important to Manitoba.
14. Holocaust Memorial. As you stroll through the grounds you'll come across this memorial that was dedicated in 1990 to commemorate holocaust survivors and families in Manitoba.
15. Famous Five Monument. Also known as the Valiant Five we'll tell you above this famous group of women and why they became notable in Canada.
16. Bitter Memories of Childhood, Taras Shevchenko & the Winnipeg Receiving Station Monuments. We'll tell you why these three monuments, grouped together, reflect a large population of Winnipeg.
17. Next of Kin Monument. You'll see here a monument created to show respect for the bereaved wives and mothers of Canadian soldiers, from Manitoba, lost in World War 1.
18. United Nations Monument & Women of British Commonwealth Statue. We'll tell you about the three stone pillars in the monument dedicated to peacekeeping and the women in the statue which pays homage to women who took part in our fight for freedom.
19. Winnipeg Cenotaph & Surveying for the Future Monument. We'll tell you about the towering cenotaph you'll see across the street and the monument to the future.
20. Sir William S. Stephenson Statue. We'll give you here a bit of the story of this Canadian soldier and why he became so famous during World War Two.
