Itinerary

1. Temple of Debod

A park with stunning views over Madrid’s historic center. In the middle stands an authentic Egyptian temple, gifted to Spain by Egypt and reconstructed here. A popular spot among locals to watch the sunset.

2. Plaza De Espana

Major central square surrounded by iconic buildings such as Hotel RIU, Edificio España, and the end of Gran Vía. The square’s decoration is inspired by Don Quixote de la Mancha and its author Cervantes.

3. Jardines de Sabatini

The official gardens of the Royal Palace. Recently renovated, offering elegant landscaping and scenic viewpoints.

4. Plaza de Oriente

Iconic square connecting the Royal Palace and the Royal Opera House. Designed in French style, with statues that once stood atop the Palace. Its central fountain is one of the most important in Madrid.

5. Plaza De La Armeria

A viewpoint offering panoramas of eastern Madrid and the other side of the Manzanares River. Views of the mountains and Casa de Campo park.
