Overview

We meet at the bus stop by the Plaza de Santiago del Teide, where the guide welcomes you and explains the route. A scenic drive through the mountains leads to the picturesque village of Masca, where you'll have time to explore before starting the hike. The 5 km trail descends through a dramatic volcanic gorge, surrounded by towering cliffs and lush vegetation. At the end lies a hidden cove beneath the majestic Los Gigantes cliffs. Though swimming isn’t allowed, the view is breathtaking. The adventure ends with a boat ride offering unique views, followed by a transfer back to the meeting point.

The starting point is the bus stop next to the square of Santiago del Teide. Recommended Parking Area: Santiago del Teide Cemetery (9-minute walk from the meeting point). It is recommended to arrive well in advance.

1. Masca Gorge Trail

Embark on an unforgettable adventure as you hike down the stunning Masca Gorge, then relax on a boat ride along the towering cliffs of Los Gigantes. A perfect mix of hiking and scenic sailing awaits you!

2. Playa de Masca

After the spectacular hike down the Masca Gorge we'll arrive to a magnificent wild Masca Beach where will embark on a boat.

Duration: 15 mins

3. Acantilado de los Gigantes

We will pass by the towering 450-meter-high Los Gigantes Cliffs during our cruise back to Los Gigantes Marina.
