Itinerary

1. Okuta (Head Shop & Café)

Visit the original handmade Mochi shop from Nara and have a Mochi on the way to the Sake Distillery

Duration: 10 mins

2. Harushika Brewery

A very well appreciated Sake Brewery where you will have a tasting session with 5 types of sake. Possibility to buy sake at the shop and other souvenirs

Duration: 40 mins

3. Nara machi craft beer

A very traditional and modern mixed Japanese Craft Beer Brewery created in 2017. A very smooth and refreshing beer with snacks included.

4. Take no Yakata

For an early dinner. Thus, you have time to keep exploring the area after the end of the tour and leave with a local Japanese meal experience.

5. Naramachi Koshi-no-Ie (Lattice House)

This house is a replica of the old Japanese townhouses from the Edo period, that used to be built about 400 years ago. Walk inside and explore an old traditional Japanese townhouse, and discover how Japanese used to live before.

6. Nakatanidou

The most famous mochi maker in the City. If our timing is good, we will attend a mochi pounding session and then eat the freshest mochi just pounded a minute before, in front of us
