Nuremberg Medieval Old Town Walking Tour in English Discount Tickets

Overview

Explore Nuremberg’s medieval walled Old Town on a fascinating 2-hour guided walking tour in English! The city has been at the forefront of pivotal eras throughout Germany’s history and was one of the largest, richest, most important cities of medieval Europe. With a past that harks back to its roll as a Free Imperial City of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nations, Nuremberg was also the cradle of the German Renaissance, when master artisans made Nuremberg a center of culture and learning. Hear the stories behind the history and see the city’s must-visit sites, like St Lawrence Church, Albrecht Dürer Platz, the Imperial Castle Courtyards, Old Town Hall, Beautiful Fountain, and the Nuremberg Hauptmarkt (marketplace). You'll get suggestions on what to do in the city after the tour as well as tips on the best places to sample local food like the famous Nuremberg sausages and amber lager (Rotbier). Plus we'll show you a few of the lesser known sites as well!
