Redemption Instructions
Shuttle/Transportation pick-up begins 1.5 hours prior to scheduled tour time and has a 30-minute window (8:00-8:30AM, 10:30-11:00AM, 12:30-1:00PM). Please be OUTSIDE and ready for pick-up when the driver arrives, keeping in mind that buses have no parking areas and will be allowed to stop only momentarily for pick-ups. Due to traffic delays and the number of stops, we ask that you be outside and ready for this 30-minute period. On occasion a pick-up location may change due to unforeseen events. Please call our reservation office if you have any questions at (504) 467-0758. • 8:00-8:30AM pick-up for a 9:30AM swamp tour • 10:30-11:00AM pick-up for a 12:00PM swamp tour • 12:30-1:00PM pick-up for a 2:15PM swamp tour Please bring your ticket to the upstairs ticket office/gift shop to obtain a color-coded boat ticket. A boat ticket is required in order to tour the swamp. We are a family establishment, and proper attire is required including shirt and shoes. No offensive language or imagery. No booty/cheeky shorts. No swimsuits or similar attire. Water, soda, coffee, snacks (alligator jerky, chips, chocolate, candy and frozen bananas) are available for purchase in the ticket office/gift shop. There are picnic tables throughout our property for use, and we do allow light snacks on the boat. While the boats are covered, there will be partial or indirect sun. Please bring sunscreen for your comfort. There is no need for mosquito repellent during regular operating hours while mosquitos are not active. We discourage the use of repellent due to the harm it may cause any live animals on board. We do have live alligators and sometimes rescued animals on the boats. Anytime an alligator is presented, the mouth will have loose athletic gauze around the mouth for safety reasons. We follow strict guidelines and have proper permits in order to have an alligator on tour.
