2. The Gurudwara is known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, who stayed here in 1664 and healed many people suffering from a cholera epidemic. The Gurudwara also has a holy pond, called the Sarovar, whose water is believed to have healing properties.

3. Your next stop is Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Spend some time walking around the red sandstone courtyard. It was built in 1656 with the help of 5000 workers. It is situated in front of the royal residence 'Red Fort', in the midst of Chandni chowk.

4. Meet your guide at Sunheri Masjid and sit back in your tuk-tuk. Ride past the several colourful, busy bazaars of Old Delhi while your guide explains the important role they play for the locals.

9. Next, President House. Originally built as the residence for the Viceroy of India, Viceroy's House as it was then called, has metamorphosed into today's Rashtrapati Bhavan.
