Admission to the archaelogical site is not included. The park, one of the largest in Europe, reveals temples, thermal baths, mythraeums, domus, insulae, diners, factories, defensive walls and a necropolis. The walk continues beyond the archaeological park into the Borghetto of Ostia, a beautifully intact medieval citadel enclosed by fortified walls and dominated by a magnificent 15th-century Renaissance castle commissioned by Pope Julius II. A tour is easy to reach by public transport or a private transfer. A small group, up to 6 people, so that conversatione will flow nice and smooth.
