For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Redemption Instructions
Please bring your ticket to the upstairs ticket office/gift shop to obtain a color-coded boat ticket. A boat ticket is required in order to tour the swamp. We are a family establishment, and proper attire is required including shirt and shoes. No offensive language or imagery. No booty/cheeky shorts. No swimsuits or similar attire. Water, soda, coffee, snacks (alligator jerky, chips, chocolate, candy and frozen bananas) are available for purchase in the ticket office/gift shop. There are picnic tables throughout our property for use, and we do allow light snacks on the boat. While the boats are covered, there will be partial or indirect sun. Please bring sunscreen for your comfort. There is no need for mosquito repellent during regular operating hours while mosquitos are not active. We discourage the use of repellent due to the harm it may cause any live animals on board. We do have live alligators and sometimes rescued animals on the boats. Anytime an alligator is presented, the mouth will have loose athletic gauze around the mouth for safety reasons. We follow strict guidelines and have proper permits in order to have an alligator on tour. Alligators are very precious to us, and we handle them with the utmost care and respect rotating them throughout the day for their comfort. At the discretion of our captains, all toddlers/children (up to approximately age 6) must be sitting on a parent’s lap or seated in order to touch or hold any live animal. The captain will have the final say if he will allow anyone of any age to hold our animals to maintain the animals’ comfort and trust.
Pickup Information
Combination tours are offered only one time per day. The pick-up window is between 10:30-11:00AM. Please be OUTSIDE and ready for pick-up when the driver arrives, keeping in mind that buses have no parking areas and will be allowed to stop only momentarily for pick-ups. Due to traffic delays and the number of stops, we ask that you be outside and ready for this 30-minute period. • Choice of Oak Alley Plantation OR St. Joseph Plantation • Lunch IS NOT included with combo tour. Due to the length of this tour, we recommend our guests eat a hearty breakfast and pack a bagged lunch or snack. 10:30-11:00AM: Hotel pick-up 11:30AM: Arrival at swamp 12:00-1:30PM: Swamp tour 1:30-1:45PM: Depart for plantation 2:15-2:30PM: Plantation arrival 3:00PM 1-hour guided plantation tour (St. Joseph) 3:30PM 30-minute guided plantation tour (Oak Alley) 4:00-4:15PM: Pick-up for return (St. Joseph) 4:15-4:30PM: Pick-up for return (Oak Alley) 5:30-6:00PM: Hotel drop-off
