Meeting and Pickup
Enter the store and wait in the front, you may grab a toothpick and taste cheeses while you wait! You can come by uber, metro stop Rokin (4 min walk) or walk (10 min from Dam Square).

We end our tour 15 min walk from the start and 5 min from dam square or central station. You can use metro or uber home.

Itinerary
1. Begin near Spui Square at Gastrovino, a boutique delicatessen where you’ll sample aged Dutch cheese and start off our adventure!
2. Peek into Café de Dokter, founded in 1798 by a surgeon. Its dusty bottles, chandeliers, and six seats make it feel straight out of a Harry Potter film. If space permits, enjoy a mini tasting while hearing why beer was once considered a medicine.
3. Sit inside Lagerhuys, the historic spot where Gerard Heineken once served the "Nuveau Riche". Sip two local beers (or wine / NA options) paired with smoked sausage as you learn about miracles, merchants, and the city’s love of a good brew.
4. Slip into Kapitein Zeppos, a leafy courtyard café tucked behind the Begijnhof. Savor a small beer (or rosé / ginger soda) and hear how artists and poets once debated politics and pilsners in Amsterdam’s secret alleys.
5. At De Brakke Grond, sample two Belgian-style beers and a Flemish snack inside this cultural center owned by Flanders itself. Learn how Dutch and Belgian brewers turned centuries of rivalry into friendly froth.

12. End at De Prael Brewery, a microbrewery that gives work to people from the social care system. Enjoy your final two craft beers (or wine / ginger soda) and raise a glass to seven centuries of Amsterdam’s freedom and flavor.
