Overview

Start your Old Delhi walking tour with your guide meeting at pick-up point/hotel. Travel in Delhi’s lifeline i.e. Metro to start your tour from Chandni Chowk. Your first destination would be visiting a Sikh temple where you can enjoy peace and charity flowing by Sikh volunteers. Our next destination would be exploring the spice market to learn about Indian spices and ancient medicine technique known as Ayurveda. Get a chance to sample and carry back to your home as well. We then head towards Ghalib’s house, a renowned poet during declining Mughal rule whose poetry is still reminiscent of declining Mughal rule. Take a rickshaw ride to Jama Masjid,17th Century Mosque. You would also taste some paranthas to have some local flavors that would end your tour on a high note.

1. Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib
Your first destination would be visiting Sikh temple where 9th Sikh Guru was Executed under the orders of Mughal Emperor.

2. Khari Baoli
Our next destination would be exploring the spice market to learn about Indian spices and ancient medicine technique known as Ayurveda. Get a chance to sample and carry back to your home as well.

3. Mirza Ghalib Ki Haveli
We then head towards Ghalib’s house, a renowned poet during declining Mughal rule. Known for his love for mangoes and chess game, he saw the end of the Mughal rule.

4. Jama Masjid
Take a rickshaw ride to 17th-century mosque where I would share historical facts about Mughals and their rule in India. Also would be sharing some popular facts about Mughals.

5. Gali Paranthe Wali
