Itinerary

1. Casino at the Plaza Hotel
Meet at The Plaza Hotel & Casino - Your journey begins at the very spot where Las Vegas was founded in 1905—the iconic Plaza Hotel & Casino. Here, your guide will introduce you to the city's humble beginnings as a dusty railroad town and trace its evolution into the world-famous capital of entertainment and gaming.
Duration: 15 mins
2. Fremont Street Experience
The True Fremont Street Experience - Step into the dazzling Fremont Street Experience, a five-block pedestrian promenade covered by Viva Vision—the world’s largest video screen. Spanning 1,500 feet and suspended high above, this LED canopy delivers jaw-dropping light shows visible both day and night. It’s a sensory overload that perfectly captures modern Vegas energy.
Duration: 20 mins
3. Fremont East District
Historic Casino Properties - As you make your way down Fremont, your guide will lead you through several of the area’s most iconic casinos. Along the way, you’ll discover a shark aquarium built into a swimming pool, the world’s largest golden nugget, famous Mob and Rat Pack hangouts, Vegas’s first telephone, a $1 million cash display, the world’s largest sports-book, vintage coin operated gaming machines, and of course, the neon-lit charm of classic Las Vegas. Each stop reveals fascinating stories from the city’s past—Mob ties, celebrity lore, and the evolution of the Vegas Strip.
Duration: 25 mins
4. Casino at the El Cortez Hotel
Fremont East District - Leaving the canopy behind, you’ll explore the culturally rich Fremont East District, starting with a visit to El Cortez Hotel & Casino—the oldest continuously operating casino in Las Vegas. Once owned by Mobster Bugsy Siegel, this landmark is steeped in vintage Vegas history. Your guide will share tales of Mob rule, old-school glamour, and the legacy that earned El Cortez a place on the National Register of Historic Places.
Duration: 15 mins
5. Downtown Container Park
Downtown Container Park - Your tour concludes at Downtown Container Park, a 20,000-square-foot open-air complex made entirely of repurposed shipping containers. This innovative hub of shops, dining, and art installations is the crown jewel of East Fremont’s revitalization—and a perfect place to continue your exploration of local Vegas life. From past to present, this immersive walking tour offers a deeper look at the city that built an empire of lights, legends, and luck.
