One of the most architecturally important in Europe, for its Etruscan roots, and for the museums where one finds collections and displays that range over 2,500 years of history

3. Torre del Moro

A bird’s eye view of Orvieto from the medieval tower. The eye sweeps the horizon with its hamlets and castles that bear witness to the power that was of the medieval city.

4. Chiesa di Sant'Andrea e Bartolomeo

The Church of St. Andrew is an admirable example of the Romanesque style, embellished by the adjacent twelve-sided bell tower. The imposing tripartite tufa facade features, at the apex of the wide entrance staircase, a red marble portal. The latter is embellished by the lunette with high-reliefs of sacred figures, introduced with the 1926 restoration mentioned just above.
