Did you know, that beneath the streets of Toronto there lies a place called PATH? What is PATH? It's a walkway that connects more than 75 buildings in the downtown core. In the PATH you will find more than 1200 shops and eateries, dozens of coffee shops and health & dental clinics. In the PATH, you will also find 6 subway stations, 9 hotels and 20 parking garages. Guiness World Records listed Toronto’s PATH as the largest underground shopping complex. During weekdays you will find thousands of people walking beneath the city. Many people find Toronto’s PATH to be a daunting walk, and it is! However, our 2-hour walk provides many ideas, on how you can navigate beneath the city. These ideas include ideas such us, “which way are we currently walking?”, and “how do I find an entry into PATH?” Whether you’re a local or a visitor wanting to make the most of your time in Toronto, a PATH tour combines practicality with an intriguing journey through Toronto’s vibrant downtown core.
Meeting and Pickup
We begin in the Great Hall of Union Station (the main train station) The Great Hall is the oldest part of the station. The main entrance is at 65 Front Street. We meet beneath the clock and electronic departure screen. If you are entering from another entry, follow the signs for VIA Rail.
End Point
The tour ends at Toronto City Hall, approximately 2km (1.5 miles from the starting point)

Itinerary
1. See the Old and the New in this huge station which has been going through an expansion for over 10 years. Hear about it's history and hear about its future.
2. While in Maple Leaf Square (just outside Scotiabank Arena), we will see statues of some of the great hockey players who have played in this city. You will hear about Jurassic Park and Maple Leaf Square.
3. See one of the city's great pieces of architecture - Brookfield Place. See a historic building which has been relocated into this spectacular atrium.
4. Pop up from the underground PATH and stand amongst the biggest banks and the tallest buildings in the Canada in Toronto's Financial District.
5. The tour ends at a landmark in the city, the Toronto City Hall. Here you will see the old and new City Halls side by side. City Hall is also home to the famous Toronto Sign
