Witness the powerful cascades of water dramatically tumbling into a unique series of terraced pools, famously known as the 'Boiling Pots' due to their bubbling, churning appearance. Duration: 20 mins
2. Rainbow Falls
Discover the impressive Rainbow Falls, a signature natural landmark in Hilo, nestled within Wailuku River State Park. This picturesque cascade plunges approximately 80 feet into a spacious pool, creating a magnificent spectacle. Its most alluring attribute is the vibrant rainbow that frequently graces the mist when morning sunlight illuminates the waters, lending the site its magical name. Enveloped by rich tropical growth, the locale provides a serene environment for enjoyment. An accessible observation deck ensures an excellent perspective to admire the dynamic flow and capture memorable images.
Duration: 20 mins
3. Banyan Drive
Journey along Banyan Drive, a storied avenue renowned as the 'Hilo Walk of Fame,' situated on Hawaii's vast eastern coast. This picturesque route is adorned with immense banyan trees, each one set by celebrated individuals such as luminaries, public figures, and esteemed guests since the early 20th century. From the comfort of your conveyance, your Wayfind Hawaii expert will narrate the remarkable tales associated with these living monuments and the distinguished personalities who made their mark, presenting an exclusive view of this special place.
4. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park invites you to a compelling destination on the Big Island. This cherished area, recognized for its ever-changing volcanic terrain and profound cultural background, is home to Kīlauea and encompasses vast areas of Mauna Loa, two of Earth's most active volcanoes. This special setting is also where your private group will enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch.
