Itinerary
1. • For the Guide + Round-Trip Transfer Package: Your private guide and driver will pick you up from your downtown Beijing hotel at the confirmed departure time. For the Guide-Only Package, meet your guide at the designated location as advised. • The exact departure time will be confirmed with you in advance based on your booking date. To watch the flag-lowering ceremony at Tian’anmen Square, we need to make a reservation for you at least one day prior.
2. 1. Tian’anmen Square & Flag-Lowering Ceremony: After arriving, go through security checks and enter Tian’anmen Square to witness the solemn flag-lowering ceremony. Your guide will share the historical stories of surrounding landmarks, including the Great Hall of the People and the Monument to the People's Heroes, helping you understand the cultural significance of this iconic site. Important Notes: Security checks for Tian’anmen Square are extremely strict, with waiting times ranging from 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the season. We cannot guarantee entry to the square due to unpredictable security policies—please be advised beforehand.
3. Next, head to Qianmen Old Street—a well-preserved commercial street with a history of over 600 years. Lined with traditional courtyard-style buildings and red lanterns, it blends ancient charm with lively vibes, housing time-honored brands and local boutiques. Its adjacent food alley is a highlight: savor authentic Beijing snacks like stewed liver, steamed shaomai, and sugar-fried chestnuts.
