Itinerary

1. Cusco
Our tour begins with a pickup from our hotel in the city of Cusco as we head toward the Sacred Valley to visit our first stop, Pisac.
2. Cusco Cathedral
We will start our tour at the impressive Cusco Cathedral, one of the most important architectural gems of the colonial era. Inside, you will find finely carved wooden altars, remarkable artworks from the Cusco School, and a rich collection of historical pieces that reflect the fusion of Andean traditions with Spanish influence.
Duration: 40 mins
3. Coricancha
After visiting the Main Square, our next stop is Qorikancha. This temple was the most sacred religious center of the Inca Empire, and its name means "Golden Enclosure" in Quechua. Today, it shows a unique mix of cultures, as the Spanish built the Santo Domingo Church directly on top of the original Inca stone walls.
Duration: 30 mins
4. La Vicunita Factory
For the second part of this tour, we will head to the llama farm and textile workshop. On this stop, as we make our way back to Cusco, you'll have the chance to feed the llamas, alpacas, and other South American camelids. You will also see how they traditionally produce beautiful textiles and handicrafts. Once finished, we will continue our journey to the next destination.
Duration: 35 mins
5. Sacsayhuaman
Next, we will head to the Cristo Blanco viewpoint for a guided tour. Here, you'll be able to take in a panoramic view of the whole city, capture some great photos, and then continue to our next stop
Duration: 30 mins
6. Q'enqo
The next stop will be Qenqo, one of the most mysterious Inca sanctuaries near Cusco. Named after the Quechua word for "zigzag," this unique archaeological site features intricate rock carvings, underground chambers, and a massive limestone altar where sacred rituals and mummification practices once took place. Walking through its narrow stone tunnels offers a brief, fascinating glimpse into the spiritual heart of the Inca empire.
Duration: 30 mins
7. Pukara Archaeological Site
The next stop will be Puka Pukara, an impressive Inca fortress perched on a hilltop overlooking Cusco. Translating to "Red Fortress" in Quechua due to the distinct reddish hue of its limestone walls at sunset, this strategic military checkpoint once served as a watchtower, supply post, and barracks for royal travelers. Exploring its terraces, plazas, and ancient aqueducts offers a captivating look into Inca defense strategy and scenic views of the surrounding highlands.
Duration: 30 mins
8. Tambomachay
The final stop will be Tambomachay, the sacred Inca water temple located just outside Cusco. Known as the "Bath of the Inca," this remarkable archaeological site features finely crafted stone masonry and a series of underground aqueducts that continuously feed crystal-clear water through stone channels. Believed to have served as a spa resort for Inca nobility and a ceremonial site to worship water as a source of life, it offers a peaceful, fascinating look into advanced Inca engineering and hydrology.
Duration: 30 mins
9. Cusco
At the end of the tour, we will return to your hotel to conclude today's activities.
