1. Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, is famed for being the home giant pandas. BUT Chengdu NOT ONLY PANDAS. It is one of the historic cities in China, with a long history of over 3,000 years either. It enjoys the title of "the land of abundance" and with rich tourism resources. We can customize your own itinerary based on your interests and requests. This tour is a private 8- hour day tour, included private guide ,air-conditioned vehicle and driver. So your knowledgable private guide will tailor you itinerary based on you. We list below attractions are popular in the city , you do NOT have time visit all of them , But you will have a fantastic 8 hour private tour with your guide and driver . We do not know your interests before guide meet you . So the customized tour will NOT include attractions entrance tickets, you will pay on your own when you arrive .
2. It’s a beautiful park where we will the giant pandas, red pandas and if we are lucky we could even see the baby pandas in the Panda Nursery. Come here early we will more likely to see pandas in their breakfast time and play time!
3. It is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. It is the home of the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City.In addition to its cultural relics, Wenshu Monastery is famous for its exquisite garden and solemn halls. Tourists and locals can enjoy tea in the Tea House while listening to music by folk artists
4. It is one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. It is also a very attractive and intriguing scenic spot that is covered by luxuriant and verdant trees
5. Strolling down the narrow street, you will find yourself surrounded by old-world stores selling Shu Embroidery, lacquer products, folk handicrafts, curios, or calligraphies and paintings of celebrities.
6. It is a microcosm of the city’s history as well as a deep mark in local people’s memory.
7. Just as the name implies, it was the home of a famous poet, Du Fu, in Tang Dynasty (618-907).
8. It is a rare site museum among Chinese museums because of its combination of modern civilization and the civilization of ancient Shu State (Sichuan Province was called Shu State in ancient times), as well as the combination of ecological environment and culture.
9. Wuhou Temple, also known as Wuhou Shrine Temple of Marquis, is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Marquis Wu (Wuhou) of the Kingdom of Shu in the Three Kingdoms Period (220 - 280).
10. The People’s Park is definitely the best places to immerse in the living of Chengdu. Like locals do every day - join the crowd for square dancing, sit down and enjoy tea in a teahouse, try out the Majhong game and you may even have a massage or the bizarre but popular ear picking!
11. If one travels to Chengdu for the first time, Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street is a place that should not be missed.
12. There are hundreds of bars here with different styles and sizes, some are peaceful, some are lively; some can only accommodate several tables, and some can hold hundreds of people. No matter which one you prefer, you can thoroughly enjoy yourself here and all of your pressures will go away.
13. Wandering through the Qingyang Palace, you will find many locals and visitors eating, drinking tea and playing Mahjong at the temple's teahouse. This is a traditional and extremely popular pastime for the people of Chengdu.
14. Chengdu Museum is the biggest comprehensive museum in the city .
15. Visitors can enjoy tea made from Xue Tao Well water, read poems and couplets left by celebrities, and become intoxicated by the ethereal surrounding.
16. After tour, your guide and driver will take you back to your hotel. Please note: Those listed attractions not means you will visit all, because the day tour is 8- hour tour include hotel pick up and drop off time , so your guide will customize your itinerary based on your interests.
