At its peak, over 60% of the oil paintings sold in the world originated from Dafen Oil Painting Village.It is a surprisingly popular tourist attraction in Shenzhen. It is full of galleries and workshops that sell all kinds of paintings. There are also classes on portraits for more interested visitors. Pictures are quite cheap start from RMB 30 of each.
