Ô Quy Hồ Heaven Gate, also known as Sapa Heaven Gate, is one of the most breathtaking mountain passes in northern Vietnam. Located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, this iconic viewpoint marks the border between Lào Cai and Lai Châu provinces and offers panoramic views of the Hoàng Liên Sơn mountain range. From the top of Ô Quy Hồ Pass, visitors can admire the vast valleys, lush forests, and winding roads disappearing into the mist. The area is especially famous for its dramatic sunsets and sunrises, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers. On clear days, you can even see Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, standing majestically in the distance.
