The north district of Capitol Reef National Park is better known as Cathedral Valley and is famous for monolithic cathedrals of Sandstone that rise hundreds of feet into the sky. Diverse geological wonders abound throughout the different sections of the valley, keeping first time visitors on the edge of their seat. Early in the tour we cross the Fremont River at “River Ford” on our way to the amazing mars-like landscape of the Bentonite Hills. Trip highlights are dispersed throughout the tour allowing for constant photo opportunities and interaction with your knowledgeable guide. Lava fins, temples, hoodoos, crystal formations, canyons, and wildlife make this a tour of epic proportions of which you are sure to enjoy! The vehicle used for the tour has 4 regular, adult sized seats and 2 small, child sized seats. Therefore, we can accomodate up to 4 adults and 2 childern for 6 passengers maximum. 1 adult and 5 children would also work.

This offroading tour involves rough, bumpy roads that are not recommended for anyone wanting to avoid being jostled around. Pregnant travelers and those with back problems must use their own discretion.
