1. Pedra da Gavea

Pedra is the largest monolith (a single, massive stone or rock) on the seashore in the world, and arouses admiration for its grandeur and mystery. It is one of the extreme points of the Tijuca Forest National Park and one of the most spectacular viewpoints. To win the climb in the carrasqueira it is not necessary to have previous experience. The guide will assist all participants using rock climbing techniques and procedures necessary to carry out the adventure in comfort and safety. The descent along the climbing section of the carrasqueira is done by a technique similar to rappelling, where the one who will control the descent and the equipment will be the guide, offering your group much more security. You and your friends just need to enjoy the moment and take lots of pictures.
