Itinerary
1. After morning pickup at your Beijing hotel, travel in a private vehicle to the Badaling Great Wall, located about 45 miles (75 km) north of downtown Beijing. one of the most magnificent sections of the Great Wall around Beijing. This section of the Wall is about 2.3-miles long (3.7 kilometers) and on average 26-feet (8 meters) high. The highest section is wide enough for five horses to ride abreast. Badaling was the earliest part open to the visitors among all the sections of the Great Wall in Beijing. You can hike the Great Wall for two to three hours, or have the option to take cable car up and down (own expense). During winter season, you will see the snow that covers the mountaintop and the Wall. You will be amazed by this beautiful scenery. You will have 2 hours to enjoy the hiking here.
2. Enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant nearby. In the afternoo, you will enjoy another potion of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section Great Wall. Which is known for its beautiful surroundings – dense woods and rich pastures that change colors with the seasons of the year. It winds its way over 1000 meters to the crest of a mountain, before turning sharply and dipping downhill. You can choose to take the cable car or chair lift: it's also possible to toboggan. After you've strolled along the Great Wall and captured iconic pictures, it's about a 2-hour drive back to Beijing. You'll arrive at your hotel around 5pm to 6pm.
