ℹ️ Our ItaliaTours Tour leader will have your rail tickets ready for you at the meeting point. MEETING POINT: Arrive at Termini Station 30 minutes before departure. A representative holding an ItaliaTours sign will be waiting to check you in in front of Caffe Vergnano inside Termini Station on the departures level. Enter the main terminal from any of the multiple entrances and make your way to the shopping area facing track #1. However, Pompeii is a large site, covering about 170 acres (64 hectares), and the terrain can be uneven, with cobblestones, stairs, and sometimes slippery or loose gravel paths. Expect to walk several kilometers, which could take about 2 to 4 hours, depending on your pace and how much you want to explore.
