Itinerary
1. At 9:30 am, your tuk-tuk driver will meet you at your hotel in Jaipur. Get ready for a fun and exciting day ahead!
2. Our first stop will be Amer, renowned for its magnificent forts and palaces. This historic town is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in Indian architecture and culture. Once you arrive at Amber Fort, you have the option to either walk or hire a jeep for your exploration. As you make your way through the 16th-century fort on foot, take in the stunning views of Maota Lake. Your knowledgeable guide will be by your side to provide insights and information about the rich history of this magnificent structure.
3. Next, you will explore Panna Meena ka Kund, an eight-story, 200-foot-deep stepwell with 1800 symmetrical steps. It was built in the 16th century and features geometric staircases.
4. Our next stop is the beautiful Jal Mahal, also known as the Water Palace. This stunning palace showcases traditional Rajput architecture and sits gracefully in Man Sagar Lake.
5. Next, head towards the historic old city and explore the magnificent Royal City Palace. Situated in the heart of Jaipur, this architectural masterpiece is renowned for its fusion of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. Admire the stunning collection of textiles, costumes, and armor within the palace walls.
6. After taking in the beauty of the City Palace, be sure to visit The Jantar Mantar observatory. This impressive site is home to some of India's most significant and well-preserved fixed monumental instruments from the 18th century. In fact, many of these structures are considered the largest ever built in their respective categories.
7. Next, we will visit the Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Winds". This stunning structure was built in 1799 for the royal ladies to observe processions without being seen. It is a remarkable example of Rajput architecture and is located near the City Palace Complex in Jaipur.
8. Gaitore Ki Chhatriyan, or Gatore Cenotaphs, stands as a testament to the royal legacy of the city. This remarkable site serves as the royal crematorium grounds for the esteemed rulers of Jaipur, offering visitors a captivating glimpse into the rich tapestry of its history
9. Once the tour is finished, we will transport you back to your hotel in Jaipur.
