Itinerary
1. Île Saint-Louis is an island located on the Seine River in the heart of Paris, in the 4ᵉ arrondissement, just upstream from the Île de la Cité.
2. Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, commonly known as Notre-Dame, is one of the most emblematic monuments in Paris and France. It is located on the Ile de la Cité and is a Catholic place of worship, the seat of the Archdiocese of Paris, dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
3. The Louvre, or Musée du Louvre, is a national art museum and one of the most famous museums in the world.
4. 36 quai d'austerlitz is the meeting point for boarding the Diamant Bleu. Boarding starts at 7.45pm, and the boat departs at 8.30pm. Please note that we are not expecting latecomers!
5. This bridge links the Quai Branly (in the 7th arrondissement, on the left bank) to the Avenue de New York (in the 8th and 16th arrondissements, on the right bank)1. On the right bank, it separates the ports of Conférence and Debilly, and on the left bank, those of Gros-Caillou and La Bourdonnais.
6. The Musée d'Orsay (officially the ‘Établissement Public du Musée d'Orsay et du Musée de l'Orangerie - Valéry Giscard d'Estaing’ since 2021) is a French national museum inaugurated in 1986.
7. The 7.56-hectare Place de la Concorde is the largest square in Paris. It is located in the 8ᵉ arrondissement. Along with Place des Vosges, Place Dauphine, Place des Victoires and Place Vendôme, it is one of the five royal squares in Paris.
8. Despite its name, the Pont Neuf or New Bridge is currently the oldest bridge in Paris. It crosses the Seine at the western end of the Ile de la Cité.
9. The Debilly footbridge is a pedestrian and cycle bridge across the Seine in Paris. It joins the Avenue de New York to the David Ben Gourion esplanade, the Quai Jacques-Chirac and the Quai Branly, linking the 16th and 7th arrondissements.
10. We pass in front of the Eiffel Tower as it sparkles. Come up to the rooftop to enjoy the moment and take your best photos!
11. Ile aux Cygnes, formerly known as the Grenelle dyke1, is an artificial island located on the Seine in Paris, between the 16th and 15th arrondissements, and administratively attached to the latter.
12. The Pont Alexandre-III is a bridge crossing the Seine between the 7ᵉ and 8ᵉ arrondissement of Paris.
13. This small 11.5-metre statue was donated by the Americans in 1889, three years after France gave them the Statue of Liberty. Once again, this monument celebrates a very special event, this time commemorating 100 years since the French Revolution. This landmark event in French history is marked alongside 4 July 1776, the date of American Independence, on the plaque held in the statue's left hand.
