1. Tomb of Seti I
Tomb of Seti I (KV17) – The longest and one of the most beautifully decorated tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Seti I, a 19th Dynasty pharaoh and father of Ramesses the Great, was known for his powerful reign. His tomb stretches 137 meters and is a true masterpiece of ancient Egyptian art. Inside, you’ll see exceptionally well-preserved carvings and colorful paintings that reflect the highest artistic standards of the New Kingdom. Highlights include detailed scenes from the Ritual of the Opening of the Mouth, stunning astronomical and astrological ceilings, and intricate religious texts carved deep into the walls. KV17 is a must-see for anyone interested in the art and symbolism of ancient Egypt.

2. Tomb of King Tutankhamun (Tut)
King Tutankhamun – The most famous pharaoh in the world. This young king of the New Kingdom became ruler at just 10 years old and died mysteriously at 19. Despite his short reign, his name lives on thanks to the incredible treasures found in his nearly intact tomb. During your visit, you'll come face to face with his royal mummy inside his original burial chamber in the Valley of the Kings—an unforgettable encounter with ancient history.

3. Tomb of Ramses III
The tomb of Ramesses III (KV11) is one of the most remarkable in the Valley of the Kings. Known since antiquity, it features vibrant sunken reliefs with traditional funerary texts like the Litany of Ra and the Book of Gates, showing the king before various gods on his journey to the afterlife. Uniquely, KV11 also includes rare secular scenes in side chambers near the entrance. These show detailed images of foreign tribute—such as Aegean pottery—along with boats, weapons from the royal armory, and blind harpists playing music. This last scene earned it the nickname “Tomb of the Harpers.” KV11 stands out for its mix of divine and daily life, offering a vivid picture of Ramesses III’s world.

The tomb of Ramesses IV (KV2) stands out among the Valley of the Kings. It’s one of the most spectacular tombs you'll visit, with richly decorated walls featuring detailed scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and Book of the Night. Inside the burial chamber, vibrant blue and white colors still shine brightly after thousands of years. A highlight is the rose-colored granite sarcophagus of the king, still resting inside. Look up to see a stunning depiction of the sky goddess Nut stretched across the ceiling, shown swallowing the sun and giving birth to it—a symbolic journey through the night sky.

8. Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon – These two colossal statues are among the largest and most iconic in Egypt. Dating back to the reign of King Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty, they stand 18 meters tall, each representing the king seated on his throne. These monumental statues were originally placed at the entrance of Amenhotep III's mortuary temple, which is now mostly in ruins. The Colossi are famous not only for their size but also for the mysterious "singing" sounds that were once heard at dawn, caused by the rise in temperature and the expansion of the stone. Today, they remain a striking symbol of ancient Egypt’s grandeur and engineering.
