Itinerary
1. Depart from your hotel in the morning or afternoon with a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and start your exciting tour. On arrival, you will visit the Yuyuan garden, which is an old traditional garden. It has history that dates back to over 400 years and is filled with graceful buildings, ponds, rockeries, and pavilions. Strolling around the garden creates the sensation as though you’ve been transported back to the ancient times of China.(Yuyuan garden close on Monday, if you book the tour on Monday, please choose Jade Buddha temple instead).
2. Next, head to the famous Bund area, where you can see the beautiful skyline including the Shanghai Tower (the second tallest in the world), Pearl TV Tower, and Shanghai World Financial Center. You surely will be amazed by the prosperous Bund view. You also can choose to stroll along from Riverside Promenade (Binjiang Da Dao) and look towards to west side of Shanghai city.
3. Then, you will visit the French concession. It is an area of well-preserved old-style stone architectures, filled with arts and craft shops as well as restaurants. You will have a nice stroll around the alleyways while enjoying the art, food, and souvenirs.
4. At the end, you will have a luxury lunch or dinner at the Michelin-star rated restaurant Din Tai Fung to enjoy the world famous soup dumplings. You can also try out tasty egg rolls, wontons, stem dumplings, beef noodles, or other food items. Your guide will take you back to your hotel after the conclusion of the tour.
