1. One of oldest and most traditional neighborhoods in Lisbon. We will explore its interesting monuments, charming narrow streets, and meet its genuine people.
2. Built in the 12th century, this church is a landmark of Lisbon and it is the seat of the Patriarchate of Lisbon.
3. Stunning view over the Alfama neighborhood and Tagus River.
4. This incredible viewpoint has one of the best views in the city.
5. "Monastery of St. Vincent Outside the Walls" is a 17th-century monastery and a great example of mannerist architecture in the country.
6. The National Pantheon houses the tombs of Portugal’s most distinguished historical figures.
7. In recent years this quarter became one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Lisbon, much because of its wonderful views over the city.
8. The most central and renowned neighbourhood in Lisbon. It was completely rebuilt by the Marquis of Pombal after the earthquake that destroyed the city in 1755.
9. An important cultural and commercial district, known for its luxury shopping, historic landmarks, and its numerous theatres and museums.
10. A former monastery built in 1389 that was destroyed during the 1755 earthquake that devastated Lisbon.
11. This garden has a panoramic view across the city to St. George's Castle and central Lisbon.
12. This picturesque quarter dating from the 16th century, has traditionally been the city's bohemian haunt of artists and writers. Its streets are quiet during the day, but it is transformed at night into one of the city's most vibrant nightlife quarters.
13. Strategically built on the North bank of the Tagus River, this fortification is the jewelry of Manueline architecture. Also, this is one of the most relevant landmarks of Lisbon. You will be able to see it from the outside and we have a stop for pictures.
14. A masterpiece of 16th-century architecture in Portugal, the Monastery of Jerónimos is listed as a National Monument and inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. You will be able to visit the interior of the Church only.
15. This landmark stamped on the Tagus River bank is the most symbolic monument related to the Age of the Discoveries - the golden era of Portugal.
16. This museum shows off an iconic example of modern architecture on its facade just by the Tagus River.
