Itinerary
1. Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up you at your Nanjing hotel or Nanjing Railway or Nanjing South Railway station (If you travel by train). Enjoy a comfortable ride to Purple Mountain scenic area.
2. Upon arrival, start to visit Dr. Sun-Yat Sen Mausoleum,One of the top attractions in the city, the holy mausoleum is to commemorate the “Greater Father of Republic China”, forerunner of Revolution of 1911. Take time to appreciate majestic design surrounded by lush green mountains. Enjoying learning the fascinating history of Republic China from your guide. Take in the wonderful view from the top when you walk up the steps.
3. Next pay the visit to a beautiful villa, once the home of Song Mei Ling (The first lady of Republic China) and Chiang Kai Shek .Designed with features of both Chinese and Western architecture, the villa is regarded as the “ No.1 Villa in Far east”. Check out excellent exhibits inside and have a good learning about the famous couple that helped shaped modern China.
4. Then head to Xiaoling Tomb of Ming Dynasty, inscribed as UNESCO World Cultural Heritages, it is the largest imperial tomb made for the first emperor Zhu Yuan Zhang from Ming Dynasty and Queen Ma. Here takes a nice walk in the sacred avenue lined up with different mythical “guardian animals”, immerse yourself in the beautiful garden sceneries in different seasons, such as cherry blossom in Meihua mountain in Spring, lush green in Summer, fantastic foliage in autumn. 5. Make a stop at Lingu temple (The Soul Valley Temple), one of the most important Buddhist temples from the ancient times.
