Overview

There's more to Rome than St. Peter's. There are three other Papal Basilicas in the city, each one of them with a Holy Door and an altar reserved for the Pope. These majestic buildings preserve precious relics, works of art and tombs of many popes. We will meet at Santa Maria Maggiore, the first church ever to be dedicated to Mary Mother of God. Then a transport will pick us up and take us to Saint Paul outside the walls, where you'll have the chance of visiting the hidden medieoval cloister. Our tour will end at Rome's Cathedral of Saint John Lateran, the Head and Mother of all Churches, that also has a beautiful medieval garden. After the tour you'll have the chance of visiting the nearby Holy Stairs, the very same Jesus stepped on his way to trial in Jerusalem.
