Itinerary

1. Your driver will hold a sign with your name in the hotel lobby. The drive from downtown Beijing to the Mutianyu parking lot takes about 90 minutes (75 km). Option from the Airport: Beijing Capital Airport (PEK), which takes about 80 minutes. please provide your flight number, arrival time, and amount of luggage. The Mutianyu Experience: Gaze up at ancient walls winding across rolling mountain ridges—a perfect photo opportunity. On clear days, you can see Beijing’s skyline in the distance. We recommend taking the 8-minute cable car up to the Wall (at 800m elevation), so you can save your energy for hiking. After your visit, take the fun toboggan ride back down to the base. Your driver will meet you at the meeting point (the Great Wall convenience store, which offers simple drinks and snacks) and then drive you back to your hotel in Beijing.
